What is the RHA Course?

The RHA (Rodent Health Advisor) Course is aimed at students who feel they would benefit from a more "hands on" training style of rodent care. It is designed to appeal to people who wish to learn  more about the naturally occurring diseases within the Rodent Species. The coursework consists of a study pack with interactive personal tutoring elements plus a 3 day residential programme followed by the examination.

RHA Course

What does the course consist of?

Part 1:  Consists of a diagnostic guide to rodent disease and a home study pack

Part 2:  Consists of a practical 'hands on' three day residential one-to-one tuition at the C.C.T Rodent Veterinary Hospital  at Wyton, Nr Huntingdon, Cambridge, with your tutor Vedra Stanley-Spatcher.

Examinations and Qualifications?

Based on the information you will have gained by completing both parts of the course, you will be expected to complete a Patient Case History. Upon successful completion of the course and examination, you will attain a BAR Recognised RHA Certification. You will be entitled to have your name published on our qualified RHA qualified members register, published annually.
