31st December 2011 - 1 day Refresher courses 2012 Registered students and qualified members can enrol on a new 1 day course being held throughout 2012. The purpose of the course is to provide members and students with the opportunity of receiving further tuition on diagnostics, consultations and critical care. The focus will also be on areas requiring further development. The cost is £48 per delegate with a maximum of 2 delegates per course. Courses will only be run on Fridays. Vedra's current book; "Diagnostic Guide to Guinea Pig Problems", is out of print and her new book is not going to be due until Spring 2012.
4th December 2011 - CCT Newsletter available soon
The Christmas Newsletter for CCT members will be available during the week commencing 12th December. Members will receive an email confirming the password to access the file from our site.
4th December 2011 - Latest on the future of the CCT & BAR The long term future of the CCT and BAR has been secured following the successful search for a successor to Vedra when she retires in 2017.
The CCT is pleased to announce that Alison Coulson (who runs the Potters Bar Guinea Pig Rescue) will continue the Charity's work from the current Splash Lane premises near Cambridge when Vedra retires and returns to New Zealand.
The future of BAR will also be assured as Alison will work with Paul & Rosemary Loveday to continue to develop training for members and other interested parties alike.
4th December 2011 - Pet Health Checks for CCT Members
The successful health checks carried out last December are once again being offered to Members who wish to have their pets screened for Parasitic conditions. For futher information see the Diagnositc Page
4th December 2011 - Veterinary Training Tour
A trour has been put together for 2012 with the aim of Vedra carrying out workshops/lectures in various locations throughout the country. We are hoping for a huge level of interest and will aim these lectures at current members as well as members of the veterinary community.
